Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms and error correction protocols
- Simulate quantum systems using advanced computational frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum chip designs
- Lead cross-functional projects with AI and cryptography specialists
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants and partnerships
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually
- Present findings at quantum computing conferences (Q2C, IEEE)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in Nature/Science journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex systems
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters
- Security clearance eligibility (DoD preferred)
