Responsibilities
- Develop breakthrough quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum-resistant security protocols for 2026 infrastructure
- Design and execute experiments on 100+ qubit quantum processors
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent novel quantum methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Collaborate with NASA, DARPA, and Fortune 500 partners on quantum integration projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics with 5+ years quantum research
- Expertise in quantum error correction, topological computing, and quantum annealing
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Publication record in Nature/Science/Physical Review journals
- Experience with NISQ-era hardware (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Deep understanding of quantum-classical hybrid computing paradigms
- Security clearance preferred for government projects
