Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum error correction methodologies using topological codes
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims on 1000+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge software-hardware integration challenges
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent novel quantum computing techniques
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error correction principles
- Experience with NISQ hardware (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
