Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Lead research on quantum error correction and fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for real-world problem-solving
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum software with next-generation quantum processors
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and present at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum computing initiatives
- Secure research funding through competitive grant applications and industry partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics with 3+ years of quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit design
- Published research in quantum algorithms, quantum information theory, or quantum error correction
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and high-performance computing
- Experience with quantum hardware integration and quantum simulation frameworks
- Proven track record of translating theoretical concepts into practical quantum applications
