Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and cryptography applications
- Lead experimental quantum computing projects using superconducting qubit systems
- Develop error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate theoretical models into practical implementations
- Publish research in leading scientific journals and present at international conferences
- Contribute to patent filings for novel quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in condensed matter physics or quantum information theory
- Demonstrated track record of peer-reviewed publications in quantum computing
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and measurement techniques
- Ability to secure and manage government research grants (NSF/DoE preferred)
