Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for scalable quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum applications in finance, logistics, and AI
- Author peer-reviewed research papers and present at conferences like Q2B and IEEE Quantum Week
- Optimize quantum circuits on superconducting and photonic platforms
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge quantum software-hardware interfaces
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies and architectures
- Mentor junior researchers and interns in quantum computing principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years experience in quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Proficiency in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity
- Publication record in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Expertise in at least one quantum hardware platform (superconducting, trapped ions, photonic)
- Strong Python/C++ skills with high-performance computing experience
