Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems in finance, logistics, and materials science
- Lead quantum simulation projects using IBM Quantum Experience and Rigetti's Forest platform
- Develop error mitigation protocols for near-term quantum devices
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
- Publish research in top-tier journals (Nature Quantum, Science Quantum)
- Present findings at industry conferences (Quantum Computing Summit, IEEE QCE)
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics with quantum computing focus
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks
- Expertise in quantum information theory and quantum error correction
- Publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Proficiency in Python/C++ and quantum circuit simulation tools
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (D-Wave, IBM, IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders
