Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum protocols using superconducting and photonic qubit systems
- Develop error correction techniques to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype quantum software stacks
- Publish groundbreaking research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing specialization
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep expertise in quantum algorithms and complexity theory
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications in quantum computing
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and statistical mechanics
- Experience with quantum hardware architectures (superconducting/ion trap/photonic)
- Ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
