Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead quantum hardware-software co-development initiatives with engineering teams
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and establish industry partnerships with quantum startups
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Secure competitive research grants and manage $2M+ project budgets
- Contribute to quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm design (Shor's, Grover's, VQE implementations)
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
