Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum processors at scale
- Lead research publications in top-tier journals and conferences
- Translate theoretical models into practical quantum computing applications
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum mechanics and computational theory
- Secure patents for breakthrough quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE, etc.)
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or superconducting qubits
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding or grants
