Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in integrating quantum solutions with classical infrastructure
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents in quantum computing
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum frameworks
- Collaborate with industry partners to prototype commercial quantum applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics with quantum computing focus
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Python, linear algebra, and quantum mechanics fundamentals
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel processing
