Responsibilities

- Publish research in IEEE Transactions and Nature Quantum journals
- Secure $2M+ in DOE/NASA grants for 2026 quantum initiatives
- Mentor PhD interns in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Engineering
- 3+ years experience with Qiskit/Cirq and quantum circuit optimization
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with HPC simulation frameworks
- Experience with superconducting/ion trap quantum systems
- Strong background in group theory and linear algebra
- Clearance for DOE quantum security projects preferred
