Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms targeting 2026-era computational challenges
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy protocols on 100+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for enterprise-scale optimization problems
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patentable quantum methodologies
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum theory and practical implementations
- Secure $5M+ in federal and private quantum research funding
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with superconducting qubit platforms or photonic quantum processors
- Published research in Nature/Science/Physical Review journals (2020-2023)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum development frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical models into experimental blueprints
- Security clearance eligibility for DoE quantum initiatives
- Experience with quantum machine learning architectures
