Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and cryptography applications
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop error-corrected quantum processors with 100+ qubit stability
- Conduct cutting-edge research in quantum machine learning and quantum neural networks
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge theoretical models with physical implementations
- Publish high-impact research in leading journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives across the organization
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field with 3+ years quantum research experience
- Deep expertise in quantum algorithms, quantum error correction, and quantum complexity theory
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and classical high-performance computing
- Strong track record of peer-reviewed publications in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with superconducting qubits, trapped ions, or topological quantum computing platforms
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical engineering solutions
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and passion for pushing quantum boundaries
