Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Optimize quantum error correction protocols for near-term devices
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Collaborate with industry partners to commercialize research outputs
- Mentor junior researchers and PhD candidates
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong publication record in quantum information science
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Deep understanding of quantum complexity theory
- Ability to translate abstract concepts into executable research plans
