Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for error correction and fault-tolerant computing

- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum gate operations at sub-4K temperatures
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent disclosures for quantum encryption methods
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory and computational complexity
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA initiatives
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and ACM Quantum Computing Summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of quantum research
- Published work in Nature/Science/Physical Review X on quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic quantum processor control systems
- Strong background in quantum error correction and topological qubit theory
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants
