Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to mitigate quantum decoherence effects
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives with MIT/NASA partners
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE QCE
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Mentor PhD researchers and secure $2M+ in NSF grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years experience with Qiskit/IBM Quantum Experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with parallel computing frameworks
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with superconducting qubit architectures
