Responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional teams to develop error-corrected quantum processors with 100+ qubit stability
- Author groundbreaking research papers for Nature and IEEE journals with quarterly publication targets
- Architect quantum cloud infrastructure enabling real-time drug discovery simulations
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech partners on quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Secure $2M+ annual research grants through NSF and DoD proposals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory through our FutureTech Fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years industry research
- Expertise in superconducting qubit systems and cryogenic engineering
- Published record in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature/Science/Physical Review X)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and Q# with demonstrated quantum circuit optimization projects
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Track record of securing federal research grants ($500K+)
- Experience scaling quantum systems from 20 to 200+ qubits
- Fluency in Python/C++ with HPC optimization expertise
