Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop advanced error correction protocols to enhance qubit stability
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype and validate quantum processors
- Lead research publications in top-tier quantum computing journals and conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to strategic R&D roadmaps
- Secure and manage government/private research grants
- Partner with industry leaders to translate research into commercial applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing specialization
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in quantum circuit design and simulation tools
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and statistical mechanics
- Experience with cryogenic systems or quantum hardware interfaces preferred
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to secure competitive research funding
