Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm research for 2026-era applications
- Design and implement error correction protocols for scalable quantum systems
- Manage cross-disciplinary teams of physicists and software engineers
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for enterprise solutions
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Present findings at premier quantum conferences (Q2C, IEEE Quantum)
- Patent novel quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years experience with quantum circuit design
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Published research in Nature/Science journals
- Proficiency in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC)
- Experience securing government research funding
- Strong background in quantum annealing and D-Wave systems
- Fluency in Python and C++ for quantum simulations
