Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms with error correction for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in developing scalable quantum hardware architectures
- Partner with AI and blockchain teams to integrate quantum solutions into emerging tech stacks
- Secure $10M+ in government and private research funding through strategic proposals
- Publish 2+ peer-reviewed papers annually in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Mentor PhD researchers and develop quantum computing curriculum for university partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development with demonstrated publications
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record of securing government research grants (NSF, DARPA, etc.)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience leading technical teams of 10+ researchers in high-stakes environments
- Published work in Nature, Science, or IEEE Quantum journals preferred
