Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for practical applications in cryptography and AI
- Manage cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Secure $5M+ in annual research grants from government and private partners
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Present findings at global conferences and publish in Nature Physics
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers
- Collaborate with industry partners to commercialize quantum solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Published work in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware systems
- Strong track record of securing research funding
- Expertise in quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
