Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography, optimization, and simulation applications
- Design scalable quantum hardware architectures targeting 100+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid workflows
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier scientific journals and conferences
- Secure and manage multi-million dollar research grants from government and private sectors
- Mentor PhD-level researchers and foster innovation through quantum computing hackathons
- Develop roadmaps for quantum supremacy achievement by 2026
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years research experience
- Published work in Nature/Science or equivalent top-tier journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Track record of securing DARPA/NSF grants or equivalent funding
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
- Experience leading international research teams of 10+ scientists
