Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum computing research roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological milestones
- Lead development of novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to prototype and validate quantum processor architectures
- Establish industry-first quantum security protocols for next-gen communications
- Mentor a cross-functional team of 10+ researchers across physics, computer science, and materials engineering
- Secure $5M+ in annual research funding through NSF and corporate partnerships

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years of quantum research experience
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Expertise in quantum error correction, qubit design, and quantum algorithm development
