Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms and error-correction protocols
- Design scalable quantum architectures for commercial applications in finance, logistics, and cryptography
- Secure $5M+ in government and private research funding
- Publish peer-reviewed papers in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Mentor PhD researchers and establish industry partnerships with quantum hardware pioneers
- Drive roadmap for achieving quantum advantage by 2026
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry R&D
- Proven track record in quantum algorithm development (Shor's, Grover's, VQE)
- Experience with superconducting qubits or trapped-ion systems
- Strong publication record with 10+ citations in quantum computing literature
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into commercial applications
