Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and cryptography applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum coherence at scale
- Lead prototyping of quantum-classical hybrid computing systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor architectures
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing methodologies
- Secure patents for novel quantum computational techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on quantum programming experience (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Expertise in linear algebra, complex analysis, and information theory
- Proficiency with high-performance computing frameworks (CUDA, OpenCL)
- Experience with quantum hardware interfaces (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Strong track record of delivering patented innovations
