Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to enhance quantum system stability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum processors with classical computing frameworks
- Conduct performance testing and optimization of quantum circuits on prototype hardware
- Research and document emerging quantum technologies and industry trends
- Lead quantum software development projects using frameworks like Qiskit and Cirq
- Present technical findings to stakeholders and contribute to patent applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of quantum computing experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical languages (Python, C++)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum error correction
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and algorithm design
- Demonstrated ability to publish peer-reviewed research or deliver open-source contributions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced R&D environments
