Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error correction protocols to enhance qubit stability
- Collaborate on quantum hardware integration with superconducting qubit systems
- Create quantum software interfaces for enterprise applications
- Lead research on quantum machine learning frameworks
- Document quantum system architectures and performance metrics
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and quantum mechanics
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (AWS Braket, IBM Quantum)
- Publication record in quantum computing research preferred
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical solutions
