Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems targeting 2026 commercial viability
- Design error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, engineers, and AI specialists
- Develop quantum algorithms for breakthrough applications in drug discovery and materials science
- Establish industry standards for quantum security protocols
- Present quantum roadmaps to Fortune 500 partners and government agencies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or supercomputing design
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Track record of leading projects with $10M+ budgets
- Security clearance or ability to obtain DoD clearance preferred
