Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for 2026-era applications
- Develop novel quantum algorithms to solve NP-hard problems in cryptography, optimization, and simulation
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists in quantum system integration
- Research and mitigate quantum decoherence effects to achieve stable qubit operations
- Create quantum machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics and pattern recognition
- Document quantum system specifications and develop implementation roadmaps
- Collaborate with industry partners to commercialize quantum computing solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's with exceptional experience considered)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing experience with platforms like IBM Q, Rigetti, or IonQ
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical HPC environments
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record of publishing peer-reviewed quantum computing research
- Strong analytical skills with ability to visualize complex quantum systems
- Experience leading technical projects with cross-disciplinary teams
