Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for 2026-era applications in materials science and cryptography
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing architectures
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum error correction protocols
- Collaborate with experimental physicists to optimize qubit coherence times
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and government agencies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming languages
- File patents for novel quantum gate operations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum computing
- Expertise in superconducting or topological qubit systems
- Strong background in quantum machine learning
- Security clearance eligibility (Top Secret preferred)
- Experience with cryogenic engineering principles
