Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum architectures capable of maintaining coherence beyond 2026 computational demands
- Develop error correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems using surface code implementations
- Collaborate with materials scientists to optimize superconducting qubit fabrication processes
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise-scale deployments
- Lead security audits of quantum-resistant cryptographic systems
- Publish research in Nature Quantum Information and IEEE Transactions
- Mentor junior quantum engineers through our Q-Corps program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (minimum 3 papers)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and Q# programming frameworks
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubit control systems
- Experience with quantum machine learning algorithms and variational circuits
- Certification in quantum security from NIST or equivalent
- Proven track record of scaling quantum systems beyond 100 qubits
- Strong background in topological quantum computing theory
