Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for 2026-era hardware capabilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Establish performance benchmarks for quantum advantage in real-world applications
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, quantum networks)
- Present strategic roadmaps to executive stakeholders and venture capital partners
- Ensure quantum systems meet NIST post-quantum cryptography standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction or hardware design
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and circuit optimization
- Proven track record of leading quantum hardware development projects
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
- Experience with quantum cloud platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and industry roadmaps
