Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial and research applications
- Develop quantum algorithms solving optimization, simulation, and cryptography challenges
- Lead integration of quantum systems with classical computing infrastructure
- Drive quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit design and quantum processor development
- Present breakthrough research at IEEE and Quantum Computing summits
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and researchers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or industry development
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and error correction
- Proficiency in Q#, Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum simulation frameworks
- Prior experience with quantum hardware (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and complex analysis
