Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processors with >1000 qubits and <0.1% error rates
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for optimization problems
- Create quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for 2026-era infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm development and validation
- Partner with NASA and DOD on quantum simulation projects for aerospace and defense
- Author patents and peer-reviewed papers on quantum error correction techniques
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum machine learning applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years experience with superconducting qubit architectures
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum coherence
- Certification in AWS Braket or Azure Quantum
- Experience with cryogenic quantum control systems
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks
