Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting and topological qubits
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for 100+ qubit systems
- Create hybrid quantum-classical workflows for enterprise clients
- Lead patent development in quantum algorithm optimization
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum machine learning integration
- Author technical white papers for IEEE journals and industry conferences
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent breakthrough work)
- 3+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real quantum hardware
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit design frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or topology
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum simulation libraries
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Portfolio of open-source quantum projects with GitHub stars >500
