Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological quantum systems
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Create fault-tolerant quantum error correction protocols for practical quantum advantage
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security frameworks for 2026 infrastructure
- Research emerging quantum hardware technologies (photonic, trapped ion, etc.)
- Develop quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing research or commercial quantum systems
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
