Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures targeting 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for practical industry applications
- Lead quantum software integration with cloud platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Establish quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptographic systems
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and government research agencies
- Partner with hardware teams to optimize quantum error correction techniques
- Drive open-source quantum software initiatives in the developer community
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm design or quantum hardware architecture
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant computing
- Experience with quantum simulation frameworks (QASM, Quil)
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ limitations
- Strong background in superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Excellent presentation skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
