Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems using superconducting and photonic qubits
- Design error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm optimization
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security initiatives

- Mentor junior engineers in quantum physics principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum circuit design (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and microwave photonics
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science journals
- Strong knowledge of quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC)
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
