Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with 1000+ qubit capabilities
- Develop error correction protocols achieving <10-12 logical error rates
- Create hybrid quantum-classical workflows for pharmaceutical discovery
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for materials science applications
- Establish quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography
- Mentor interdisciplinary teams of physicists and software engineers
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with superconducting qubit systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color codes)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and Q# frameworks
- Published research in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning architectures
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
- Strong background in topological quantum computing theories
