Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using topological qubits
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for industrial-scale problems
- Lead quantum hardware-software co-design initiatives for 2026 deployment
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen financial systems
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech on quantum supremacy research
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- File patents for novel quantum error correction methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 5+ years experience with superconducting qubit systems or ion-trap technologies
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proven track record of leading $10M+ R&D projects
- Security clearance eligibility (Top Secret preferred)
