Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum algorithms achieving quantum advantage in logistics, cryptography, and AI
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Establish quantum security protocols resistant to 2026-era cyber threats
- Partner with Fortune 500 companies to prototype quantum solutions
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Drive quantum education initiatives through university partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum error correction systems
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in Nature Physics or Physical Review X
- Experience with superconducting qubits or trapped-ion systems
- Deep understanding of Shor's algorithm and quantum supremacy principles
- Security clearance eligibility for DoD quantum projects
