Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum architectures targeting 2026 deployment milestones
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum hardware integration projects with superconducting and photonic systems
- Create error mitigation protocols for 1000+ qubit quantum processors
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop quantum-optimized machine learning models
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and government partners
- Publish research in top-tier quantum computing journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Published research in quantum algorithms or hardware optimization
- Proficiency with cryogenic quantum systems and control electronics
- Experience securing $1M+ R&D grants from NSF/DARPA
- Strong track record of mentoring quantum research teams
