Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial deployment by 2026
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead quantum error correction protocol implementation
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit coherence improvements
- Establish quantum security frameworks for enterprise clients
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and PhD candidates
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience with quantum algorithms and error correction
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Strong background in complex mathematical modeling
- Track record of leading technical teams in R&D environments
