Responsibilities
- Design quantum algorithms and error-corrected architectures for 100+ qubit systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-classical hybrid computing solutions
- Implement fault-tolerant quantum protocols achieving >99.9% gate fidelity
- Develop quantum security frameworks resistant to near-future cryptographic threats
- Partner with hardware teams to optimize superconducting qubit coherence times
- Present breakthrough research at premier quantum conferences (e.g., QIP, APS March)
- Secure $5M+ in quantum computing grants from NSF and DARPA
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, Physical Review X)
- Expertise in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Proven track record of scaling quantum systems beyond 50 qubits
