Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum architectures for 1000+ qubit systems with error correction capabilities
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead quantum software stack development and compiler optimization
- Collaborate with hardware teams to define quantum processor specifications
- Research and implement novel quantum error correction protocols
- Translate business requirements into quantum computing solutions
- Author technical whitepapers and contribute to open-source quantum projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm design or quantum hardware architecture
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Proficiency with high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Experience with quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical solutions
