Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing frameworks using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Design hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and drug discovery
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement quantum-resistant encryption protocols
- Develop error-correction methodologies achieving >99.9% qubit fidelity
- Partner with MIT and Caltech on quantum machine learning integration
- Secure government SBIR grants for quantum security initiatives
- Present breakthroughs at IEEE Quantum Week and World Economic Forum summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum hardware systems
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum information theory
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Security clearance eligibility (Top Secret preferred)
- Fluency in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
- Track record of securing >$10M in research funding
