Responsibilities
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum computing systems leveraging superconducting qubits and photonic networks
- Design quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for post-quantum security infrastructure
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum hardware-software co-design and validation
- Drive research into topological qubits and error correction methodologies
- Translate quantum computing concepts into enterprise-ready solutions for Fortune 500 partners
- Contribute to open-source quantum frameworks and industry standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or industrial quantum system development
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum circuit optimization
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance principles
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware and control systems
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals or conferences
- Strong background in machine learning and classical HPC architectures
