Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and cryptography challenges
- Architect hybrid classical-quantum computing systems with 10,000+ qubit scalability targets
- Lead quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for financial and government applications
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop quantum-accelerated machine learning frameworks
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and government partners
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly programming
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant systems
- Experience with cryogenic quantum processor integration
- Security clearance eligibility for DoE/DARPA projects
- Proficiency in high-performance computing (HPC) architectures
- Track record of delivering commercial quantum computing prototypes
