Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures compatible with 2026-era hardware standards
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for industrial applications
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptographic systems
- Conduct research on quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security standards
- Present findings at international quantum computing conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience considered)
- 3+ years experience with quantum computing platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms and complexity theory
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with superconducting or topological qubit systems
- Strong background in cybersecurity and encryption methodologies
